You don't need to know how to pose, have the perfect location picked out, or show up knowing exactly what to do. I'll guide you when you need it and leave room for the quiet, unscripted moments when you don't.
Some sessions feel soft and intimate. Some feel cinematic and windswept. Some end barefoot in a field after the sun disappears. The goal isn't to make your maternity session look like everyone else's. It's to make it feel like yours.
PLANNING YOUR SESSION
LOCATION.
Open fields, quiet backroads, rivers, small-town streets, private properties, or somewhere completely unexpected. We'll choose a setting that fits the feeling we're creating.
WARDROBE.
What you wear helps shape the entire feel of your photographs. I'll help with colors, textures, silhouettes, and outfit direction so everything works together without feeling overly styled.
DIRECTION.
You don't need to know what to do in front of the camera. I'll guide you through movement and posing when you need it, while leaving room for the moments that happen naturally.
WHEN TO BOOK
Most maternity sessions are photographed between 28 and 34 weeks, when your belly is beautifully defined but you're generally still comfortable enough to move around and enjoy your session.
There's no perfect week for everyone, though. Every pregnancy is different, so we'll plan around your comfort, your timeline, and the kind of session you're envisioning.
