Birth, Fresh 48, and in-home newborn sessions are about preserving those moments as they actually happen. The first look. Hospital bracelets. Sleepy stretches. Meeting siblings. Being held against your chest. The quiet pieces of becoming a family that don't need to be posed to be worth remembering.

These sessions aren't about making the beginning look prettier than it was. They're about remembering it.
I'll document what's already unfolding while giving you space to be present with your baby. There may be gentle direction when it's helpful, especially during an in-home newborn session, but there is no expectation for perfectly posed moments, a spotless house, or a baby who sleeps through the whole thing.
Feeding, crying, changing diapers, taking a minute to settle in, it's all part of these first days. We slow down when we need to and let your baby set the pace.

BIRTH STORY.
Your baby's arrival documented as it unfolds, from labor and the quiet moments in between to delivery and those first moments together. Unobtrusive, story-driven coverage focused on the people, emotion, and details surrounding the day you meet.
FRESH 48.
A relaxed session during your baby's first day or two, photographed in the hospital, birth center, or wherever those first hours are being spent. Think hospital bracelets, tiny details, first cuddles, sibling introductions, and everything you already know will disappear too quickly.
IN HOME NEWBORN.
A slow, relaxed session in the place where your baby's story is beginning. No elaborate setups or perfectly posed newborns. Just your family settling into life together, photographed in the spaces that will eventually become part of their childhood.
BEFORE YOU BRING THEM HOME.
Fresh 48 sessions take place within the first day or two after your baby arrives, giving you a way to document those brand-new moments without having your entire labor and delivery photographed.
I'll come to you at the hospital, birth center, or home and quietly document this tiny window of time: the bassinet beside your bed, hospital bracelets, wrinkled little hands, feeding, cuddling, meeting siblings, and the way they somehow already look different by the next morning.
There is very little to prepare and nothing needs to be perfect. This is simply about remembering what those first hours felt like.

Birth photography isn't about documenting every second or putting a camera where you don't want one. It's about preserving the story happening around you while you're busy living it.
The hand you're squeezing through a contraction. Your partner waiting beside you. The room right before everything changes. The first time you see your baby. The faces, tears, tiny details, and blur of those first moments together.
We'll talk about your preferences and boundaries beforehand so I know what you want documented and what you don't. During your birth, my role is to be a quiet presence in the room, following your lead and preserving the moments you may not even realize are happening.
Birth photography is available for hospital, birth-center, and planned home births where photography is permitted.
THE FIRST DAYS, RIGHT WHERE THEY HAPPEN.
In-home newborn sessions are slow, relaxed, and centered around your family settling into life with someone new.
We'll photograph the pieces that already belong to these days: your baby curled against you, feeding, rocking in the nursery, tiny details, siblings climbing into bed, and the quiet moments happening in the spaces you call home.
Your house doesn't need to be spotless, your baby doesn't need to sleep the entire time, and you don't need to have everything figured out. We'll follow your baby's pace, use the spaces and light that work best, and document this chapter exactly where it's unfolding.
BEFORE BABY DECIDES THE SCHEDULE.
For birth photography, reaching out during pregnancy gives us time to plan, talk through your birth preferences, and make sure I have your estimated due date on my calendar.
Fresh 48 sessions are also best arranged before baby arrives. BUT, I know babies do come on their own sometimes. With that being said, we can plan, but I do not take payment for these until I am actually finished photographing the day of. Life happens, and sometimes the last minute arrangements interfere with my personal schedule.
Once they're here, you'll let me know and we'll coordinate your session within those first couple of days based on your delivery, recovery, and location.
In-home newborn sessions have a little more flexibility. We can plan around your due date ahead of time and choose the actual session date once baby arrives, giving your family time to settle in without racing against a specific newborn-day deadline.
Babies aren't known for respecting calendars. We'll plan accordingly.
